Selena Gomez, an actress and singer, is a household name across the world. The Disney show Wizards of Waverly Place is one of her best-loved projects. Selena Marie Gomez is her full name. Born on July 22 of 1992 in Grand Prairie Texas. The parents of Selena are Amanda Cornett and Ricardo Gomez. Selena's mother Amanda Cornett, who was 16 when Selena was born. As a 9-year-old, Selena landed her first role in the world of showbiz as she portrayed Gianna in Barney and her Friends. Through this she was among the thousands of children who have enjoyed the chance to get involved with the anthropomorphic purple dinosaur that has become so famous in the history.
